Forgot Where Art Is?
A whole lot of work went into this one. The Forgotten Works Challenge Director, Charles Holzhey has been doing this for 9 years and says, “If the artists are a day late, they’re out of the show!” It seems like a harsh punishment, but I couldn’t even imagine trying to coordinate that many artists and pull the show off as well as he did. The project was hosted at the Tashiro Kaplan Building at 115 Prefontaine Place South in the Vandenbrink Community Room. If you are interested in participating next year or getting in touch with Charles Holzhey please email him for more information.
Listen to Charles talk about the event:

OH! Forgot to show what we picked up while we were there. We just couldn’t leave without buying the whole house. We bought 9 pieces and I plan to make a wood frame that will hold each piece separately in a grid-like manner. I can’t wait! Take a look at the pieces we bought laying down on the table prior to purchase.
