A Real Grip

A Real Grip is a video production company founded by Atuanya Priester in Seattle, WA. They create high-end music videos and video art for many disciplines.

The initial task was to brainstorm names and ideas for a video production company. 'A Real Grip' came about from thinking of professions relative to the industry and classic sayings that invoke action, thought, experience and expertise. After settling on the name the responsibility grew to create a wordmark. The client wanted something that acts as a stamp and can be used in multiple mediums. An achromatic color scheme and its presence in the bounding circle shape provide a central focal point for the eye to follow and actively engage.
